  1. Who ever posted this unit photo of D 3/67 ADA 1978, are there more unit photos like this available? I’m interested in all 3/67 ADA unit photos from years 1977-1982.

      1. Bill, I was a Lieutenant assigned to 3/67 ADA from 1979-1982. I was first with Bravo Battery as a Vulcan Platoon Leader, (Battery Commanders were Art Faris and Eric Graves), and then moved to HHB to take over the FAAR Platoon, and motor officer duties. I worked for Battery Commanders Dan Birmingham and Charlie Harrison. I spent 2 years at Giebelstadt and then 3/67 moved to Kitzingen. I recall every battery had unit photos like the one you posted during my three years there. I wonder what happened to those photos? I sent what you posted to the reunion group from Gieb, and specifically to Arlan Busk who was the commander of Delta Battery in that photo. He greatly appreciated it. We’re you assigned to D Battery? I may be wrong, but I think a local German photographer took those photos. Would be something if whoever was hired to do those photos was tracked down, and asked if they have more. Steve

        1. Yes, I bet the photographer or studio kept doing them for years. I was Delta, 1977-1980 Capt Busk, Capt Palumbo, 1stSgt Hand…I was Missile Maint. on the Chaps. Also Draftsman, PAO Photographer, fun times.

          1. Bill,

Thanks for your service to the Army and nation. Delta was a pretty solid unit from what I remember. In fact, the battalion was very solid. Maj Gen Gerry Putman, who was battalion commander during most of your time passed away a few years ago. Like many, he’s buried in Arlington. Sadly, I was unaware of his passing. Did you know LT Eric Sundt? He was in Delta. He was my roommate and a good friend. He passed away last Oct. Very sad.
